Capt. R. Mahendran is an accomplished Marine Consultant and Fleet Manager recognized for his exceptional leadership across Southeast Asia’s shipping and offshore industries. With extensive experience managing ocean-going tankers, offshore support vessels, and harbor tugs, he has established himself as a trusted authority in operational excellence, safety management, and regulatory compliance.

As both Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and Company Security Officer (CSO), Capt. Mahendran has been instrumental in implementing and maintaining compliance with ISM, ISPS, HSSE, and Oil Major Vetting standards (SIRE, OVID, OSVIS). His expertise includes developing Safety Management and Operational Manuals, conducting audits, and overseeing vessel dry-dockings from tender to completion, ensuring optimal safety, efficiency, and cost performance.

Beyond management, Capt. Mahendran is also an approved Maritime Trainer under the Malaysian Marine Department, passionate about advancing maritime safety and mentoring future seafarers.
